Volunteer at the 2010 Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship!

Volunteers are critical to the success of this year’s first ever Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship! We need the community’s support to help ensure that this event is the hit of the summer!

There is a volunteer opportunity for almost everyone with the Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship! Volunteers are required in areas such as: Batgirls, Ticket Sales, Set-up & Take-down, Field Crew and more!

Please specify on the Canadian Open Fastpitch Volunteer Application Form which area you would be best suited for. Some volunteer areas fill up more quickly than others, so please apply today!

CANADA CUP VOLUNTEERS:

If you were a Canada Cup volunteer, please DO NOT complete the form below. A Canadian Open Fastpitch Chairperson will contact shortly to discuss your 2010 volunteer opportunities with you. If you were a Canada Cup Batgirl in 2009, please resubmit your application, following the instructions below.

If you were a Canada Cup volunteer prior to 2009, please complete the form below and enter the most recent year and area you previously volunteered in directly in the ‘Comments’ field.

Would you like to be a Canadian Open Fastpitch Batgirl?

The experience of a lifetime awaits if you fit within the following criteria:

• Must be born in 1996 or 1997
• Must be a registered member of Softball BC
• Must be available for all team games and practices (from July 5 - 11, 2010)
• Must take instruction well from coaches and be cooperative with teams
• Should expect to carry equipment, assist players with water, be a ‘gopher’ for the team
• Must have transportation organized for all day, evening, and weekend games and practices
• Will be included in the Canadian Open Fastpitch Team Photograph
• Must apply no later than June 15, 2010.
