Volunteers are critical to the success of the Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship! We need the community’s support to help ensure that this event is the hit of the summer!

There is a volunteer opportunity for almost everyone with the Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch International Championship! Volunteers are required in areas such as: Batgirls, Ticket Sales, Set-up & Take-down, Field Crew and more!

Please specify on the Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch Volunteer Application Form which area you would be best suited for. Some volunteer areas fill up more quickly than others, so please apply today!

2011 SCOTIABANK CANADIAN OPEN FASTPITCH VOLUNTEERS:

If you were a 2011 Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch volunteer, please DO NOT complete the form below. A Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch Chairperson will contact you shortly to discuss your 2012 volunteer opportunities with you. If you were a Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch Batgirl in 2011, please re-submit your application, following the instructions below.

If you were a Canada Cup volunteer prior to 2010, please complete the form below and enter the most recent year and area you previously volunteered in directly in the ‘Comments’ field.

Would you like to be a Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch Batgirl?

The experience of a lifetime awaits you if you fit within the following criteria:

Must be born in 1998 or 1999
Must be a registered member of Softball BC
Must be available for all team games and practices (from June 30 - July 9, 2012)
Must take instruction well from coaches and be cooperative with teams
Should expect to carry equipment, assist players with water, be a ‘gopher’ for the team
Must have transportation organized for all day, evening, and weekend games and practices for all venues including Softball City and Cloverdale Athletic Park
Will be included in the Scotiabank Canadian Open Fastpitch Team Photograph
Must apply no later than June 1, 2012.
